Adding SLA Metric Attribute field
Log in as a user with the 'Jira Administrators' global permission.
Navigate to Admin menu → Issues → Custom fields. Click Add custom field button.
Tip: Keyboard shortcut: g + g + start typing add custom…Select Advanced type fields.
Locate SLA Metric Attribute and confirm your choice with the Next button.
Fill in the Name and Description (optional) fields.
Press the Create button.

Searching SLA Metric Attribute
Searching for SLA Metric State
SLA Metric State Attribute field supports the following searching operators: =, !=, in, not in. Valid operands are the SLA Metric States: Not started, Active, On hold, Finished, Exceeded, Cancelled (case-insensitive).
Example of search query: "Attribute_field” = Exceeded
Searching for SLA Metric Times
SLA Metric time attributes are Time spent, Remaining or Exceeded, Remaining, Exceeded, Time in on hold status, Time in current goal.
Valid operators: >, >=, =, !=, <=, <, is, is not. Valid operands are time expressions and plain numbers (is interpreted as seconds).
Example of search query: "Attribute_field” < 30m
Searching for SLA Metric Number values
SLA Metric time attributes are Time spent in percent, Time exceeded in percent, Number of resumes, Active time percent.
Valid operators: >, >=, =, !=, <=, <, is, is not. Valid operands - any number.
