SLA Metric Attribute Text field is an attribute field that can be exported as a string value. |
Adding SLA Metric Attribute Text field
Log in as a user with the 'Jira Administrators' global permission.
Navigate to Admin menu → Issues → Custom fields. Click Add custom field button.
Tip: Keyboard shortcut: g + g + start typing add custom…Select Advanced type fields.
Locate SLA Metric Attribute as Text and confirm your choice with the Next button.
Fill in the Name and Description (optional) fields.
Press the Create button.
Configuring SLA Metric Attribute Text field
Log in as a user with the 'Jira Administrators' global permission.
Navigate to Admin menu → Issues → Custom fields.
Locate desired field, press Configure → Edit Metric attribute.
Select SLA Metric field.
Define Attribute type.
Confirm with the Submit button.
SLA Metric Attribute Text field types
State | Current state of SLA Metric (e.g. Active, On Hold..). |
---|---|
Time spent | Time spent on the issue after SLA Metric clock was started. (e.g. 6h 35m 43s). |
Time spent in percent | Time spent on the issue in percent (e.g. 64%). |
Remaining or Exceeded | Shows time remaining to complete SLA or exceeded time if SLA was breached. |
Remaining | Time remaining until SLA will be breached. |
Exceeded | Time spent on the issue after a breach. |
Time exceeded in percent | Time spent on the issue after a breach in percent. |
Active time percent | Percentage of time SLA Metric was in Active state. |
Time in on hold status | Amount of time the SLA Metric was paused. |
Time in current goal | Time to complete the SLA according to the goal (applies if the current goal is set as a fraction of time). |
Date in current goal | Deadline date according to the goal (applies if the current goal is set as a Date field). |

Please note that "Number of resumes" and "Number of restarts" attribute types are not available for SLA Metric Attribute as Text field. |
