SLA PowerBox Two-dimensional Gadget is a two-dimensional table based on SLA Metric State, where X-axis is a selected SLA Metric field, and Y-axis is a Jira system or custom field. This is a highly customisable gadget that allows one to view 15 different SLA series during a custom period including real-time breach statistics.

Issues that were included in the categories can be viewed in the new window after clicking on the number of categories at the bottom of the gadget.

Add a gadget

  1. Log in to your Jira account.
  2. Navigate to the needed dashboard → click "Add Gadget" button at the top right corner of the page.
  3. Search for SLA

  1. PowerBox Two-dimensional Gadget → click "Add".
  2. Fill in all the necessary fields and click Save.

Gadget configuration

  1. Project or Saved Filter - allows selecting a pre-saved filter or the whole project.
  2. SLA
Metric - the metric to track. 
  • By date - the date by which the issues will be displayed in the gadget. You can choose Creation date, Resolve date or SLA start date.
  • Interval - intervals of time to be shown on the X-axis. You can select Day, Week or Month.
  • Number of intervals - the number of intervals selected in step 4 to display on the X-axis (up to 60).
  • Interval options - if checked, empty intervals will be ignored during the calculation of averages.
  • Value type - allows selecting whether to count the total amount of issues in each group or the percentage. 
  • Legend options - a checkbox to enable or disable the legend and the average line. If enabled the legend will be displayed at the bottom of the graph.
    1. Series to display - series of issues based on their SLA state. This includes Active breached SLAs, Total finished, Finished breached, Cancelled, Finished on time and many more.
    2. X Axis - SLA metric to track. 
    3. Aggregation Type: JQL (swimlanes) or Custom field. 
    4. Y Axix (if Custom field selected as Aggregation) - Jira system or custom field such as Assignee, Priority, Multi List field, Checkboxes etc.
    5. Date Range - date range that will be taken into account. You can choose Current week, Previous week, Current month, Previous month. Custom date ranges can be selected as well. 

    6. Sort by series - the issues may be sorted by Natural order (alphanumerically) or by any of the selected SLA series. 
    7. Sort order - allows selecting Ascending or Descending sorting order.
    8. Refresh Interval - the time interval for the gadget's data update. Available options are 15 minutes, 30 minutes, 1 hour or 2 hours. Select "Never" to disable the automatic update.
