SLA Behaviours define the SLA Metric fields behaviour in response to Jira issue events. The SLA Metric's state is dependent on Jira issue events. Use SLA Behaviours to set Jira issue events triggering specific SLA Metric's state changes. Thanks to that you can precisely (when based on other Jira events) define when a given action is supposed to be performed.

Adding SLA Behaviours

  1. Log in as a user with the Jira Administrators global permission.
    Choose  > Add-ons. Select SLA PowerBox > SLA Behaviours to open the SLA Behaviours page.

  2. Click the Add SLA Behaviour button and choose from two possible options: Status-based and Event-based behaviour types as shown below:

    It is possible to select a behaviour with sample data in order to get familiar with both options and their functionalities. 
  3. Click the Next button to continue.
  4. Fill in the Name and Description fields.
  5. Add actions that respond to Jira Issue Events (Read more) using the Add Action button. This button will show up only if the Event-based behaviour has been selected. 
  6. Created Actions for a specific Issue Event will be presented in a graphic form (the event-based behaviour view) - as shown below:

  7. In the status-based behaviour view pannel you can decide to which category (start, pause, resume and cancel) your status will belong to.



  8. Click the Create button to confirm.

Editing SLA Behaviours

  1. Log in as a user with the Jira Administrators global permission.
    Choose  > Add-ons. Select SLA PowerBox > SLA Behaviours to open the SLA Behaviours page.

  2. Click the Edit button in the Options section.

Deleting SLA Bahaviours

  1. Log in as a user with the Jira Administrators global permission.
    Choose  > Add-ons. Select SLA PowerBox > SLA Behaviours to open the SLA Behaviours page.

  2. Click the Delete button in the Options section.
  3. Confirm with the Delete button.
