You must have the JIRA Project Administrator permission to carry out the instructions on this page.
Log in as a user with the Project Administrator’s permission.
Navigate to your project → Settings → Apps → Configure Secure Fields.
Click ADD SECURE FIELD button.
Select a field type and name your Secure field.
Click on +Create New (secure field).
Confirm, by clicking Create button.
