Before GateGPT can be used, the app will request access to your Atlassian account which will allow GateGPT to:

  • view the profile details for the currently logged-in user
  • view user information in Jira that the current user has access to, including usernames, email addresses, and avatars
  • read Jira project and issue data, search for issues and objects associated with issues like attachments and worklogs
  • create and edit issues in Jira, post comments as the user, create worklogs, and delete issues
  • send data to the following domain: api.openai.com

  1. Log in as a user with the Project Administrator’s permission.

  2. Navigate to your project → Settings → Apps → GateGPT Settings → click Allow access.

  3. You'll be forwarded to the authorization page → click Accept
  4. You can now configure GateGPT according to your needs.
