All Secure Fields types can be utilized in Jira Service Management projects and on Customer Portal

Customers can view secure values after creating a ticket

Make sure to grant Read and Write permissions to "Service Desk Customers" role to allow customers to set secure values while creating a ticket.

Secure fields that have "Service Desk Customers" role added to the permission will appear on the specified forms in the Customer Portal. 

Secure fields' values can't be edited from Customer Portal once the ticket is submitted

Please note: the selected request types only apply to the forms on the Customer Portal. The Jira issue will display all the configured secure fields in the project (unless specific issue types are configured).
