Secure Field extends JIRA's power by a mechanism that allows to add and manage permissions for security-enabled Custom Fields in an issue. Jira Administrators can define secure field permission schemes. It looks similar to Jira Permission schemes. Separate permissions can be defined to view custom field, edit and view field history.
As you do not want every user to have the same level of access to some parts of an issue, with Secure Custom Field plugin you are able to restrict a user from viewing, editing or inspecting the history of particular custom fields. From now on management starts from the smallest part!
