To see what's the real power of the Workflow PowerBox Templates, you have to understand what is a workflow itself. Simply, it is a set of statuses and transitions moving issue from one status to another.

While creating a workflow you can design its transitions with taking into account post functions and all constraints such as validators and conditions. Possibilities are almost endless. But what in a situation when you have to manage multiple complex workflows that are associated to different projects? Adding all conditions, validators and postfunctions become very complex and time-consuming work. Every single transition has to be updated with conditions, validators and post functions manually. It's especially hard when you often use similar sets of transition elements many times.

This is were worfklow templates comes in place.

Now, you are able to create a whole package of transition elements, bundle them into template and easily and quickly add to your workflow transitions. You can create you own condition templates, validator templates, post function templates. Each of them can be created and edited independently giving you a bunch of options thanks to which you can effectively manage your workflow transitions.

What's in it for you?

Templates allow you to:

  • create a fully editable and reusable set of conditions, validators and post functions
  • group and nest not only conditions but also validators
  • inverse conditions and validators
  • disable templates which are temporarily out of use (e.g. for test purposes)
