Adding SLA Metric Attribute field
Log in as a user with the 'Jira Administrators' global permission.
Navigate to Admin menu → Issues → Custom fields. Click Add custom field button.
Tip: Keyboard shortcut: g + g + start typing add custom…
Select Advanced type fields.
Locate SLA Metric Attribute and confirm your choice with the Next button.
Fill in the Name and Description (optional) fields.
Press the Create button.
Configuring SLA Metric Attribute field
Log in as a user with the 'Jira Administrators' global permission.
Navigate to Admin menu → Issues → Custom fields.
Locate the desired field and press Configure → Edit Metric attribute.
Select SLA Metric field.
Define Attribute type.
Confirm with the Submit button.
State | Current state of SLA Metric (e.g. Active, On Hold..). |

Time spent | Time spent on the issue (e.g. 6h 35m 43s). |

Time spent in percent | Time spent on issue in percent (e.g. 64%). |
---|
Remaining or Exceeded | Shows time remaining to complete SLA or time exceeded if SLA was breached. |

Remaining | Time remaining until SLA will be breached. |
---|
Exceeded | Time spent on the issue after a breach. |
---|
Time exceeded in percent | Time spent on the issue after a breach in percent. |
---|
Number of resumes | Number of times SLA Metric was resumed. |
