The Start and End Date function will allow you to control the time to display announcements.

Simple Text

a) Start

Now - Announcement will be displayed immediately after editing.
Calendar - choose a start date.

b) End

Never - Announcement will always be displayed (unless you disable it manually).
Calendar - choose a end date.

Single Issue

a) Start

Now - Announcement will be displayed immediately after editing.
Date field - Announcement will check data from "Date field" and start at the same time.
Calendar - choose a start date.

b) End

Never - Announcement will always be displayed (unless you disable it manually).
Date field - Announcement will check data from "Date field" and end at the same time.
Calendar - choose an end date.

Multiple Issue

a) Start

Now - Announcement will be displayed immediately after editing.
Date field - Announcement will check data from "Date field" and start at the same time.
Calendar - choose a start date.

b) End

Never - Announcement will always be displayed (unless you disable it manually).
Date field - Announcement will check data from "Date field" and end at the same moment.
Calendar - choose an end date.
