Add Google Analytics

  1. Log in as a user with the 'Jira Administrators' global permission.

  2. Navigate to Admin menu → Manage apps →Communities.

  3. Go to the Google Analytics Setup tab → click Add.

  4. Input needed data → Save.

Tracker name - fill in a name for the particular tracker.

Tracking Code - specify the tracking ID that refers to the needed account and property.

Defined path - a fragment of relative URL which points portal or section that should be tracked.

When adding an Account for Communities make sure to create a Universal Analytics property.

Please note: if multiple tracker expressions match the current URL, all the trackers will be notified.

Edit & Remove Google Analytics

  1. Log in as a user with the 'Jira Administrators' global permission.

  2. Navigate to Admin menu → Manage apps → Communities.

  3. Go to the Google Analytics Setup.

  4. Use Edit / Delete buttons in order to update or remove existing trackers.
