Starting from version 3.8 it is possible to migrate secure fields along with their values, history and permissions to the Cloud.
Please be aware that only secure field types that are currently available in Cloud can be migrated: Secure Number, Secure Text Multi Line, Secure Text Single Line, Secure Date, Secure Date Time, Secure Single List, Secure Multi List, Secure Single User, Secure Multi User, Secure Single Group and Secure Multi Group. Additionally, the Secure Password and Masked Secure field can be migrated as a Secure Text type.
Permissions available for migration are View field, Edit field value, and View field history. Please note that only permissions based on Project Roles will be migrated.
Log in as a user with the 'Jira Administrators' global permission.
Navigate to Admin menu → Manage Apps → Secure Fields → Cloud Migration Configuration.
Select the secure fields you want to migrate to Cloud.
Specify for each field whether to migrate the history.
Tick the Ready checkbox at the bottom of the secure fields list.
Click Save to confirm.
Proceed to perform the migration with the help of JCMA.
