SLA Agreement contains and combines such parameters as SLA Metric, SLA Behaviours and SLA Goals to enable efficient management of SLAs and their respective requirements within Jira

Add an Agreement 

  1. Go to Apps → SLA for Jira → Agreements → click Add SLA Agreement.

  2. Fill in the necessary details and click Save to confirm.

Agreement details

  • Fill in the Name and optional description of the Agreement.
  • Type in the name for your SLA Metric → Create new metric.

Project mapping

  • Select the project(s) for which you would like the current SLA Metric to be applied. If you would like to apply the Metric to all existing projects in your instance, tick the box "All projects".
  • Define for which specific Issue types SLA Metric should be applied. Tick the box "All Issue Types" to apply Metric to every issue type in selected project(s).

Field Behaviour and Goal

  • Specify the SLA Behaviour to be associated with the current SLA Metric.
  • Select an SLA Goal for the Metric.

Visibility

You can configure SLA Metric to be hidden in the following cases:

  • Hide the SLA Metric when is "Not Started" status
  • Hide the SLA Metric from the view issue screen
  • Hide the SLA Metric when no deadline is set
  • Hide the SLA Metric when is "On Hold" status
  • Hide the SLA Metric when is "Finished" status
  • Hide the SLA Metric when is "Cancelled" status

Agreement Recalculation

Once the SLA Agreement has been created, modifications of the SLA configuration will require recalculation of the Agreement.

The red sign on the left side of the SLA Agreement indicates that recalculation is required.

  1. Go to Apps → SLA for Jira → Agreements.
  2. Click 'Recalculate' button at the top right-hand side of the page.
  3. Select the Agreement(s) for recalculation and click 'Execute'.





Edit an Agreement

  1. Go to Apps → SLA for Jira → Agreements.

  2. Locate the needed SLA Agreement.

  3. Click on three vertical dots in the Operations section → Edit.

  4. Make the necessary adjustments → Save.

Delete an Agreement

  1. Go to Apps → SLA for Jira → Agreements.

  2. Locate the needed SLA Agreement.

  3. Click on three vertical dots in the Operations section → Delete.

  4. Confirm by clicking Remove.
