Workflow post functions allow you to carry out additional processing after a transition is performed such as: updating the issue's fields, generating a history change for an issue, adding a comment to an issue, or generating an event to trigger email notifications. To read more click here.
SLA PowerBox allows Jira Administrators to integrate SLA calculations with workflows.
This feature brings a new workflow element that operates on transitions and triggers the change of SLA metric state.
Make sure "Custom Behaviour" box is checked in the SLA Agreement configuration.
Post function configuration
- Go to the Project settings page → Workflows → Actions → click Edit.
- Go to post functions section on the selected transition → click Add post function.
- Locate Trigger SLA Action post function by SLA PowerBox → Add.
- Fill in the Trigger name.
- Select SLA metric for which the state will be updated.
- Select SLA Action: Start, Pause, Resume, Cancel, Finish, Restart.
- Click Add.
- Publish the updated workflow.
Once the changes are published, SLA state of the specified metric will change at the chosen transition. All changes are recorded in the SLA History tab on the Issue view page.
